Ringling College of Art and Design, located in Sarasota, Florida, seeks a progressive and enthusiastic leader to serve as Director of Library Services for the Alfred R. Goldstein Library. Constructed and opened in 2017, the library was built with a focus on art and design education and includes state-of-the art collections, services, technologies, and facilities.

The Director of Library Services, with faculty status, will serve as a key strategic partner in the delivery and support of academic programs and will report to the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty.

About the Library Director Opportunity:

  • A sense of humor, intellectual curiosity, and an eagerness to explore new ideas
Additional qualifications and requirements include:
  • Master of Library Science degree from an ALA accredited school
  • High-level library leadership in a public, academic or relevant special library
  • Creativity and interest in the visual arts
Salary is $105,000 to $115,000/year or higher, negotiable based on qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits. Relocation assistance available.
